Places Leisure are proud to be supporting ukactive with their new initiative, the Fit Fix show – a fun fortnightly look at what’s happening in the world of exercise, sport and fitness.  

In each episode, presenters Jack and Acushla will introduce you to fun ideas to get fit and stay healthy and special sports and fitness guests share their training secrets before being put to the test in the 60-second challenge.

In Episode 1, Mik Scarlett gives skiing with a disability a try. Jack finds out how to do the perfect push up and Acushla learns to make a nutritious pre-workout coconut smoothie. There is also a report on National Fitness Day and gold medal sprinter Darren Campbell takes part in the 60-second challenge. Watch here.

Episode 2 sees Acushla discover the world of Boutique Fitness at SWEAT 2018 and learn to crunch with confidence, while Jack does Yoga4Men and gives Battle Ropes a try. Special guest British Javelin thrower Goldie Sayers faces the 60-second challenge and Steve from ukactive drops into the studio. Take look.
