PfPL Stamped Quest Stretch Excellent

Places for People Leisure have been awarded Quest Stretch Active Communities ‘Excellent’ rating for the second consecutive year.

Quest is the Sport England funded improvement tool within the leisure industry and its rigorous assessments challenge even the very best leisure centres in the UK. Quest Stretch is the highest level of award and provides additional challenges to the standard entry of Quest to enable facilities, organisations and teams to better demonstrate their impact on local communities and local priority outcomes.

The award process consisted of an initial assessment where Places for People Leisure were assessed against several core modules including Insight and Marketing, Increasing Participation, Active Community Outcomes, Continuous Improvement, People and Skills Development, Quality Assurance and Partnerships and Collaborations.

Paul Brivio, Quest Assessor reported, “Places for People Leisure showcased impressive participation results reflecting growth in size as well as applied efforts to drive up throughput and develop new programmes and schemes. The company also displayed a strong partnership ethos with some very positive collaborative working with local authority clients demonstrated. ”

Places for People Leisure were then validated against Community Engagement and Increasing Participation modules, with partners and customers supporting us on the day and helping to build the picture of what we are doing to create active communities.
