Bulmershe Leisure Centre will be closed from Tuesday 15th June - Monday 28th June inclusive

You will be aware of an increase in surge testing throughout the Wokingham Borough and that there have been cases of the Covid-19 Delta variant detected in the Borough. From Tuesday, 15th June, Wokingham Borough Council will be using the Bulmershe Leisure Centre as a surge testing site for the local community and therefore, we will need to close our facilities to members until Tuesday, 29th June. 

Bulmershe Direct Debit members  

Please be advised that your Direct Debit will be automatically adjusted with a 50% reduction to account for the above-mentioned closure, please don’t cancel your Direct Debit. This 50% reduction will be shown in your next Direct Debit payment. Our payment partner Harlands will be in touch about how this affects your payments. ​ 

Bulmershe annual members, and those on a 3-month membership 

The two-week period of closure will be added to the end of your term. 

Bulmershe swim lesson members 

Please be advised that all swimming lessons will be cancelled during this time. To compensate, your Direct Debit payment will automatically be adjusted with a 50% reduction to account for the closure, please don’t cancel your Direct Debit. This 50% reduction will be shown in your next Direct Debit payment.  

Bulmershe pre-paid/casual bookings 

Please be advised that all bookings will be cancelled during this time. A member of the team will phone you to rearrange your booking(s) and/or refund your payment to you. 

Multi-site members from other Wokingham sites 

If you are a member at one of our other centres within the Wokingham Borough Council, please be aware that Bulmershe will be closed for this period and your membership payments will be unaffected.  

General 

Please be aware that any non-attendance fees during this time period will automatically be waived. 

All members and casual customers are invited to use our other centres in the Wokingham contract, subject to availability, which includes Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, Ryeish Green Sports Hub, St Crispin’s Leisure Centre and Arborfield Green Leisure Centre.
