Independent climbers are welcome anytime during our opening hours and do not need to book. This is subject to the climbers meeting minimum safety standards, for more information visit our Already a climber page.
Booking is essential for all other sessions, please call 01932 260300 (option 6).
We want all our climbers to feel comfortable on the wall at all times. Climbers will be stretching on the wall and will get warm pretty quick, so we don't recommend thick jumpers. Jeans can restrict movement, so it is not suggested.
Skirts and dresses are not permitted on the wall, unless leggings/jogging trousers are worn underneath. We cannot except thick tights. Shorts are fine, although if they are too short the harness may cause discomfort on bare skin, or move during climbing. T shirts with long, short or no sleeves are absolutely fine, and may even help you keep cool!
We cannot accept any form of open toe shoes, including crocs or sandals. Trainers are great, and there is an option of climbing shoe hire on the day for just £1.00,
Long hair should be tied back to prevent catching in the devices, and kept low as a helmet may be worn on session. Any loose jewellery or pin badges should be removed before climbing.
Bring a bottle of water, a smile and lots of energy!
