Our programmes support recovery, rehabilitation and your overall health and wellbeing.
Wellbeing classes
We run a range of specialist classes for rehabilitation and general wellbeing throughout Waverley. Please contact your local centre for more details, prices and how to book.
GP referral
If you have suffered an illness or recently had an operation our GP referral sessions will help you get back into fitness. You’ll need a ‘prescription to exercise’ from your doctor to get started and our instructors will support you through your sessions.
We now accept referrals for Juniors aged 11-15 years old.

Swim4Health
This is a 6-week aquatic journey to support you back into activity, incorporating access to pool based activity sessions and swimming for just £28.
You can get a referral from participating health professionals.

Stroke Rehab
Our exercise-based Stroke Rehab classes are open to stroke survivors at any stage of their stroke journey. The sessions are run a specialist qualified instructor.
Clients can be referred by a health professional, such as their physiotherapist, GP, stroke specialist nurse or occupational therapist.
- Monday 2.30pm-3.30pm
- Wednesday 2pm-3pm
£4.50 per session.

Smart Heart
These classes are for those who have any cardiac condition and those who have completed Phase 3 Cardiac Rehabilitation, as well as those who are looking to start Phase 4 or for a maintenance class post Phase 4 completion.
These classes involve a variety of exercises, but allows you to go at your own pace. Each class is led by our specialist BACPR qualified Instructor Caroline.
- Mondays 10.30am-11.30am
- Monday 12pm-1pm (Circuits)
- Wednesday 10.30am-11.30am
£4.50 per session.

Steady and Strong
Our Steady and Strong classes are aimed at the older adult who has had a fall or to help prevent a fall from happening. These classes are to improve balance and co-ordination, improve muscular strength, increase confidence as well as to improve posture and core stability.
- Mondays 2.15pm-3.15pm
- Thursdays 1.45pm-2.45pm
£4.50 per session.
