Peter Finds the Perfect Pastime

Upon retiring, Peter Jenkins was looking for a pastime that gave him an interest as well as exercise. He tried several things and has found that the Walking Football sessions that we run give him everything he wants.

"There is a good group of people with a bit of banter and a social side. I have made good friends within the group and  a couple of us will be going to Wembley for the Pompey Checkatrade Final."

"The game is played by people of different abilities and physical conditions. My own health has changed drastically recently but I still feel welcomed and able to join in and contribute to the fun. Additionally the sessions give me something to look forward to each week."
