GP Referral

If you have suffered an illness or recently had an operation our GP referral sessions will help you get back into fitness.  You’ll need a ‘prescription to exercise’ from your doctor to get started and, in partnership with the Sport and Leisure department, our instructors will support you through your sessions.

Unpaid Carer Gym and Swim Cards

We have teamed up with Wokingham Borough Council to offer unpaid carers a chance to enjoy gym sessions or swim at a reduced rate. Once registered, you will pay only £2.50 each time you visit (subject to unpaid carer status).

NHS Health Checks

The NHS Health Check is a health check-up for adults in England aged 40-74. It's designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia. As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions. An NHS Health Check helps you find ways to lower this risk.

We offer this service for free if you meet the NHS criteria, however not to worry if you don’t, we can offer you the same service for just £25.
